Yes of the Heart Festival (Oct/Nov 2017)

Our ‘Yes of the Heart’ Festival was held to honour the 500th anniversary of Luther’s 95 Theses and the beginning of the Protestant Reformation.    The Festival comprised three lunchtime concerts and a festal liturgical celebration of Bach Vespers.

The results of the silent auction of Luther memorabilia are published at the bottom of this page.

A selection of Bach chorale preludes for organ punctuates an intriguing programme exploring textual and melodic antecedents of the chorale, and demonstrating how some of these chorales were re-elaborated in the Scandinavian Lutheran tradition.
